Luke’s sense of adventure and passion for taking on challenges has always been part of his make-up. Using this makes Luke extremely adept at navigating the complex world of accounting, where his expertise found a home in 2005 when he joined BLG. Taking some time away to travel in 2011 Luke worked for an accounting firm in London, before returning to BLG in 2013.
For Luke being an asset to his clients is more than knowing the rules and regulations. It’s about understanding their needs and achieving an outcome that works for them. He enjoys adding value to his clients’ lives and making changes that will improve their circumstances.
With years of experience behind him, Luke has seen and dealt with a multitude of issues, leaving him in a great position to resolve any problems that clients are dealing with. He has a keen interest and loads of skill in business structuring, planning and self-managed superannuation funds, and plays a key role in the training and development of junior team members.
Outside of work, Luke loves to travel, surf, and stay active by participating in competitions like Tough Mudder and volunteering as a patrol member of Fairy Meadow Surf Lifesaving Club. He is also a member of the Crohn’s and Colitis Association, a cause close to his heart since he was a teen. He and his wife Sarah are proud owners of Donnie, their French Bulldog.
